How does Psychokinesis work?
Q. For Psychokinesis, does both player take damage or just the player who plays Psychokinesis or the player that got the card destroy? If I play the card and destroy one card on the field. Do I take damage or who takes damage? Psychokinesis: Activate only while you control a face-up Psychic-Type monster. Destroy 1 card on the field and take 1000 damage.

A. Your would take the damage, if it was the other was around that card would have been baned a long time ago. Since you activated the card you get to chose any card on the field to destroy but you still take 1000 damage no matter what because it is considered YOUR cost to activate YOUR card.

How do I control my new found psychokinesis powers?
Q. I can move objects with my mind, but only when I'm stoned. Let me explain. Exactly three weeks ago I was walking back to my dorm room after smoking a blunt in this field behind it. I went to attempt to throw my water bottle into a trash can a solid 15-20 feet away. Before I could even throw it, the bottle flew from my hand and swished into the trash can. I stood there for a second stunned. I hadn't even pulled my arm back to throw it. I rationalized the whole thing by just thinking how stoned I was. A. I think that there's a good chance you WERE doing telekinesis. I do believe it exists out there, as I've seen it happen to certain people in my life. I've also heard a lot of stories about people doing it subconsciously and without their will. MAYBE when you were stoned, you were subconsciously tapping into your telekinetic ability. And the reason it had to happen subconsciously is because your conscious mind inhibits it from doing it. Think about it this way, when you dream, an unlimited no. of possibilities happen bc your subconscious takes over and your conscious mind isnt active. Does the card psychokinesis inflict 1000 points of damage on the opponent or does the user suffer it.?
Q. The card says take 1000 points of damage but from who???

A. you lose 1000 life points who ever plays the card takes 1000 damage. or else it would "destroy one card and they also take 1000 damage" or something along those lines. but unforunatly you take 1000
